If you would like to be referred to another provider that does accept your health insurance plan please ask the provider you are speaking with for referrals or contact Lisa D’Antonio at 410-834-5734.

If you do not have insurance or are choosing to not use your insurance then we offer the following out of pocket rates.

Family Therapy Session: $150.00

Couple’s Therapy Session: $150.00

For young children with parents interested in using Play Therapy techniques, 25-30 minute sessions are available for $75.00. This must be approved with the Mental Health Provider in order to make sure this plan is clinically sound.

At Oak Tree Counseling Center, we provide Good Faith Estimates to every patient paying for therapy out of pocket. This will be discussed in the first phone call and will be part of the intake process.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance and estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. This includes related costs like late cancelation fees. Make sure your mental health provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item.

You can also ask your mental health provider and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule therapy services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For more questions or information about your right to Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or call The No Surpises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.
